IDAERO strengthens its support for MAD Formula Team with advanced FEA automation training powered by NaxTo

 

IDAERO Solutions continues to strengthen its collaboration with MAD Formula Team as part of its sponsorship for the 2025–2026 season, offering not only access to professional NaxTo licenses but also specialized technical support tailored to the team’s real needs.

The IDAERO team delivered a customized training session to members of the MAD Formula Team Stress department, focused on optimizing structural calculation processes through FEA analysis.

This session primarily addressed one of the key challenges identified by the team: the efficient management of multiple load cases in critical vehicle components, such as wheel hubs. During the training, the NaxTo technical team demonstrated how to leverage the tool’s capabilities to automate these repetitive processes, significantly reducing the time required to run and analyze multiple simulations. In addition, best practices and technical recommendations were shared to improve the robustness and efficiency of their workflows.

One of the key highlights of the session was NaxTo’s ability to create and customize user-defined tools through scripting. This functionality enables the development of solutions tailored to the team’s specific repetitive tasks and allows them to be easily shared so that all members can use them seamlessly. During the session, participants were shown how to implement these types of automations, which will be particularly useful for standardizing processes and improving team productivity.

This type of initiative reflects IDAERO’s commitment to fostering young engineering talent by providing not only professional tools but also the knowledge required to fully leverage advanced FEA post-processing technologies.
